DS2000 – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, installing, executing, or in any manner utilizing the DS2000 hardware device and/or accompanying software (collectively referred to as “DS2000”), you (“the User”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not accept these Terms in their entirety, you are expressly prohibited from, and must refrain from, any further use of DS2000.

2. Description and Scope of Service

DS2000 comprises:

• A proprietary hardware device designed to connect via USB to a computing system, commercialized by Mechardo Labs.
• Proprietary, downloadable software provided at no cost, which interacts with said hardware and establishes a connection to the Discord platform via Remote Procedure Call (RPC) protocols.

The software facilitates bidirectional data transfer between the hardware and the Discord client, including but not limited to the retrieval, processing, and transmission of mute and deafen states, as well as the issuance of commands to the Discord platform for muting/unmuting, deafening/undeafening, and disconnecting the User from a voice channel.

3. Eligibility and Compliance

DS2000 is available without age restriction; however, the User is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations, including but not limited to Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and any applicable platform-specific policies.

4. Restrictions on Use

The User shall not, under any circumstances:

• Use DS2000 for purposes unlawful under applicable jurisdiction, including harassment, fraud, or other malicious activities.
• Attempt, directly or indirectly, to modify, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or derive source code from the DS2000 software or hardware.
• Reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit DS2000 or its components without prior written consent from Mechardo Labs.
• Utilize DS2000 in any manner that interferes with, disrupts, or circumvents the normal operation of Discord or any third-party services.

5. Relationship with Discord

DS2000 is an independent creation of Mechardo Labs and is neither developed, endorsed, sponsored, authorized, nor in any way affiliated with Discord Inc. All usage of DS2000 that interfaces with Discord is subject to Discord’s applicable terms and conditions, which remain entirely separate from this Agreement.

6. Intellectual Property and Licensing

All rights, title, and interest in and to DS2000, including its hardware design, software code, trade names, and associated trademarks and logos, are and shall remain the exclusive property of Mechardo Labs. The User is granted a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to operate DS2000 in its provided form solely for personal use. Modification, adaptation, or creation of derivative works is expressly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mechardo Labs, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption of service, hardware malfunction, or personal injury, arising from or in connection with the use, misuse, or inability to use DS2000, even if Mechardo Labs has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The User assumes all risks associated with the operation of DS2000.

8. Amendments

Mechardo Labs reserves the right to amend, modify, or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of DS2000 following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to DS2000 or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Argentina.
