DS2000 – Privacy Policy

1. Purpose and Scope
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the practices of Mechardo Labs regarding the collection, storage, use, and protection of data obtained through the use of the DS2000 hardware and software. By using DS2000, the User consents to the practices described in this Policy.
2. Data Collected
When operating DS2000, Mechardo Labs may collect and store, either automatically or through explicit user input, the following categories of information:
- Discord mute and deafen status indicators.
- The User’s email address and Discord user ID.
- Aggregated usage statistics for internal analytical purposes only.
3. Data Storage and Retention
All collected data is stored on servers controlled by Mechardo Labs and retained indefinitely unless a lawful and verified deletion request is received from the User. Data is stored for operational, analytical, and product improvement purposes and is not shared with external third parties under any circumstances, except as required by applicable law or judicial order.
4. Security Measures
Mechardo Labs implements commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Future iterations of DS2000 will incorporate encrypted communication channels between the DS2000 device and its software to further enhance security.
5. Registration Requirement
The DS2000 hardware requires proper registration with Mechardo Labs’ systems to function with the associated software. Unregistered or improperly registered devices may be restricted from operation.
6. No Web-Based Tracking
The DS2000 software does not use cookies, web beacons, or any browser-based tracking technologies.
7. User Rights
Subject to applicable legal limitations, the User may request access to, rectification of, or deletion of their personal data by submitting a verifiable request through the contact form at: /en/contact.
8. Amendments to Policy
Mechardo Labs may revise this Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be available through official publication channels. Continued use of DS2000 after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
9. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Argentine Republic.
